Friday, February 29th

Let's see here. Last time I posted, we were still stuck in a tiny car with Chase the Delusional, Cullen the Clooney Fan, Olivia the Moody, Sean the Texter, and me. We still had no idea how we were gonna get out. If only there was some device that could open the trunk from the inside in case of emergencies. Oh wait, there is!

As soon as I realized this, I felt around the sides of the trunk. As you can imagine, this was difficult seeing as I was laying on my side with Chase's head jabbing into my back and Sean sitting on my feet, trying to bring his dead phone back to life. After awhile, I thought I had felt something. It was resisting, but I eventually pulled it. However, this wasn't the emergency escape pull. This was Olivia's shoe. Crap! She was still extremely irritable, and she started yelling in my ear. This didn't bother me, though. I just tuned her out the way I always do.

I continued feeling along the side of the trunk. After about ten minutes, I thought I had found something. Hoping it wasn't Olivia's hair this time, I yanked it with all my might. Next thing I knew, I was flying in the air above rush hour traffic. Closing my eyes, I waited to fall to my death. Fortunately, I didn't get hit by any cars. After regaining my train of thought, I looked around me. We were all scattered along the street. Suddenly, there was a honk and I looked up to see an Element about to run over me. I jumped and landed in the grass. "I knew I always hated those things," I said to myself.

You're probably thinking this is how we made our great escape, but your wrong. There was a commotion and turned around to see what was going on. Two men in black ski masks were running towards us. We all met on the right side of the freeway and began running. Unfortunately for me, I was wearing skateboarding shoes. I tripped over myself and my shoe came flying off. The men were about ten feet from me now, so I chucked my shoes at them. One of them got hit in face(I seem to be good at hitting people in the face). The other man got hit in the stomach. This slowed them up enough for me to catch up with everyone else.

While we were running, we passed a Chuck Norris billboard. As soon as we passed it, Chase disappeared saying something about heaven. Whatever. It's not like he was contributing anything. So, we kept running until we came to an exit ramp. It was like the presence of Chase was among us and we all agreed to run to Burger King. However, Chase was wrong. Shocker!!! Inside Burger King was mr.cashier guy, so we left. We were running down the street when I heard a scream. "Hey, where did everyone go?" I asked. No sooner had I said that than I fell into a sewer. "I knew we shouldn't have called you when we were kidnapped!" shouted Olivia. "This is all you're fault!" "Well excuse me," was my reply. Then, out from a dark corner came a man in all black. Who could it be?

Sunday, November 4th

So, I left you when we were in the trunk of a very tiny car. While riding in the trunk, we discussed our plans. "I think when we get out, we should try hitting them over the head with something," Sean suggested. "Like what," we all asked. " IDK." And yes, he really did say IDK.

We were all sitting there, actually laying there, when we heard, "I can help you under one condition." What!?" we all shouted at once. "You help me find George Clooney." It was Cullen!!!

So, Cullen had been kidnapped too. Strange, if he hadn't managed to escape himself, how was he going to help us escape? I don't think we were going to end up finding George Clooney anway.

"This guys picked me up one afternoon. They claimed to have Fender and Epi. Liars, the both of them!" shouted Cullen. "Shut-up!" demanded the two men. "You'll never take me alive coppers, never!" That was Chases. He was getting delusional. "Yeah, whatever," said Olivia. She was kinda moody today. Of course, who wouldn't be.

So, here's the predicament. Cullen's gonna help us, but we have to help him find George Clooney afterwards. (I don't think he realizes this, but he's in France!) Sean was trying to figure out how to K.O. those two guys, Chase was being weird(well, weirder), and Olivia was in a bad mood. Then there was me. There are no words to describe what I was thinking, mainly because I wasn't thinking anyway. But, we would win this battle. Eventually.

Friday, October 12th

After Chase said that, I thought it was all over. Luckily, I still had my other shoe. I tend to buy them in pairs. Anyway, this was my last chance. This small glimmer of hope that maybe I could aim it in the right direction again and give someone a nice blow to the head. Hopefully Chase.

I slid my shoe off using my other foot, which was half frozen by then. I put it onto my right foot and tried to get it balanced. Mustering all the strenght within me, i catapulted it towards them. I waited in anticipation for some kind of response. Then, Olivia said, "Okay. Who just hit me in the back of the head. And if you're hands are untied, why haven't you gotten us out yet?" Both Sean and Chase replied," It wasn't me," simultaneously. " Well, maybe someone's in here with us," Olivia told the others. "HELLO!?!!"

I tried to figure out a way to respond, but before I could, the kidnappers entered the arena. They grabbed me up, clenching my arms. Then, they gathered the others. They took off our blindfolds and put us into the trunk of a car together.
"Kaitlyn, you're the one who was hitting us on the head," Sean pointed out. I was regaining my voice and replied, "Yea, took ya long enough to figure it out."

Now, we were on our way to another destination. I wish I could have seen the faces of the kidnappers, but they were wearing ski masks. What could they possibly want us for? We hadn't done anything, or had we?

Monday, October 1st

So, the scenario I left you in is when we were all tied up together on the ice. It took me approximately 65 minutes to get the others to notice me. After I realized I couldn't yell, I knew I would have to find something to propell at them, but what?

Like an idiot, I laid there for an hour. Then, I realized I could take off my shoe using my foot and fling it at the others, given they aren't too far down the ice. It took 7 tries to get my shoe off. It was a bad day for me not to wear socks. As soon as my foot touched the ice, it was stuck there.

I miraculously balanced the shoe on the end of my foot. Gathering the little strenght left in me, I threw the shoe with my foot as far as I possibly could. Those 3 seconds were the longest in my life. Would it hit one of them? Did I overestimate their distance? Underestimate?

To my joy, I heard Sean remark that something had hit him in the head. "That's odd," Olivia pointed out. "I know this sounds weird, but it felt like a shoe," explained Sean.

Yes! Maybe they would figure it out. Realize someone was being held captive with them. Then, Chase went and said this.

"Well, we've been stuck in here for days. I keep imagining that the ice tastes like a junior whopper. Who knows, it could be a figment of your imagination."

YOU MORON!

Monday, September 24th

I couldn't see a thing. It was cold, my hands sweaty and clammy. Indeed, Chase was right when he said they were being taken to the Sommet Center. Unfortunately, he couldn't have forseen what was to happen next.

They're currently preparing for hockey season, the Predators deciding to stay in town. This made the temperature in the arena about 56 degrees. As soon as I stepped into the center, I was hit over the head with a hockey stick. I awoke on the ice. I could tell this because my backside was half frozen.

I layed there for about 15 minutes, thinking I was alone all along. Then, I heard the faint murmur of voices. It was Olivia! I would recognize that voice anywhere. Sean gave a reply to her question. I realized they had stuck all of us on the ice together. Nothing would be happening at the center anytime soon, therefore, it was perfect timing. Not for us, of course.

I made an attempt to yell to the others, to let them know someone was with them. But as I forced the air out of my lungs, I realized there was no sound coming out. I tried to move, but I couldn't feel half my body. How long had I been here? More importantly, how much longer would we survive?

Sunday, September 23rd

It was the perfect fall day. I had just come back from town, when I saw I had missed a call from my friend, Chase. He, Olivia, and Sean had all been taken hostage. They didn't know where they were going, but he thought they could be headed for the Sommet Center. He had panic in his voice as he said, " The man has blind-folded us and put us in a trunk. We have felt around for an emergency escape pull, but there is none. The man had an accent, where he's from, I'm unsure of. I heard him mention the Sommet Center and figure that is our final destination." Then, there was silence. The next three minutes were a blur to me. Calling 911 then jumping into my car. I had no idea what I was doing. All I knew was I had to reach the Sommet Center before things really got out of hand.
